Terms of Service.

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of Buffy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Buffy on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” refers to that company.

Buffy provides an AI commerce engine for consumer brands. Buffy Search adds AI-powered search and chat to your Shopify storefront. Buffy Intel monitors how public AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini describe your brand and products.

We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service. We’ll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that affect how you use Buffy.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Buffy.

Buffy offers a Free plan and paid plans billed monthly or annually. Paid fees are charged in advance for the billing period you select and are non-refundable except where required by law. Annual plans may be offered at a discount versus monthly billing.

There is no long-term lock-in, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time, and your paid plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Applicable taxes may be added. We may change our prices on a going-forward basis with advance notice.

You agree not to misuse Buffy. This includes not attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, not using it to violate any law or third-party rights, not uploading malicious code, and not using Buffy to send spam or unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

You are responsible for ensuring that the data you connect and the way you deploy Buffy comply with applicable laws and with the terms of any third-party platform you integrate (such as Shopify).

You retain all ownership of the data you provide or connect to Buffy, including your Shopify catalog and brand-monitoring inputs (“Customer Data”). You grant Buffy a limited license to host, process, and use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the services for you.

We may use aggregated and de-identified data that does not identify you or your customers to operate and improve our products.

Buffy and its underlying software, models, designs, and trademarks are owned by Buffy AI, Inc. and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service as described here.

Buffy integrates with third-party services, including Shopify and public AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Buffy Intel sends queries to those AI platforms on your behalf to measure brand visibility.

Buffy is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI-generated outputs and brand-monitoring results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buffy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to Buffy in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using Buffy and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will make Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, subject to law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Buffy after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
